Royal Navy Museums manages all media and filming enquiries for the Royal Navy Museums: Portsmouth including HMS Victory; Royal Navy Museums: Naval Aviation, Royal Navy Museums: Hartlepool including HMS Trincomalee; Royal Navy Museums: HMS Caroline, Royal Navy Museums: Submarines, Royal Navy Museums: Explosion and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard as a destination.
Press Visits
We welcome visits from media researching stories and broadcast opportunities about our sites and collections. Our team of experts are available to discuss specialist subjects and access to our archives where possible.
We are also happy to coordinate visits for consumer media/influencers and content creators reviewing a day out at our sites. Applications for these visits must be made in advance and be supported by a commission.
For social media related enquiries, please provide details of social channels, number of followers and the proposed publication date.
Filming & Photography
All requests for TV, radio, online filming and photography on our sites are dealt with by the Press Office. Enquiries should be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the proposed date by completing the application form below.
Charges can apply. Commercial photography or video is not allowed on site without approval and will be charged.
Please note, filming & photography at our sites in Portsmouth & Gosport are subject to certain MOD regulations. More information on the form.
